Some of you were not in the last lesson of term so the holiday work is detailed below. It is important that you do some research and preparation prior to the first lesson back so you have some input in group discussions. The first lesson back is Friday 2nd September. In this lesson we will be setting up the blogs and adding content from this term. The holiday work will go on the blog with the rest of the tasks you completed in the past four weeks. To avoid losing marks for planning, please ensure that all of these tasks are complete. They are outlined on the task sheets you were given. These are also saved in the shared area: year 13 resources/intro to A2.
The following work must be completed electrically; I suggest you put it into a email to yourself.
Summer Holiday Work (you will be sharing ideas in the first lesson back on the Friday):
# Find three music videos you like. Email yourself the links.
# Bullet point techniques from each video which you would like to emulate in your own production. Consider all aspects of media language such as camera, editing, mise-en-scene. Use terminology from this term.
# Find two tracks you like which are contemporary and don't have a music video already. Why do think they would be suitable? Email yourself the links. Bullet point some ideas you have for visualising this track.
You will need to complete your Photoshop task and the reflection activity. This is outlined on the slides in the shared area/intro to A2. There will be no lesson time for this next term so you will need to complete this by Friday 9th September and upload to the new blog.
If you haven't already, you will need to speak to myself or Mrs Fernandez about UCAS. You need to fill in the form given in preparation for this. Please bring this to the first lesson also.
We will be changing the editing software next year to Davinchi Resolve. This is free so you might want to get ahead and have a play with it over the hols
