To include
in pitch:
- Play a small section of the track. How are you responding visually to all areas of the track? (you could show lyrics, treatment; explain the relationship between sound, lyrics and visuals – illustrative, amplified, disjunctive. Six frame storyboard showing first shot, middle and last shot) This must be detailed.
- How are you constructing a cohesive band image across your three productions? (Show examples of print development, screen shots from videos you have analysed, refer to metanarrative and genre)
- What locations are you using for your production and how? (show stills and clips from all the locations you are using, explain any challenges and how you are going to overcome them)
- What cast and crew are you using? What roles will they be taking on? (explain any logistics in terms of planning)
- What style are you going to be constructing in your productions? (show clips of camera techniques – your own and found; visual effects from videos and print you like. What kit will you need or effects you will need to learn to achieve this)
- Once you have completed your pitch, you need to upload it to the blog. Underneath the presentation you need to post the feedback from the class and teachers (2nd piece of audience research) with the heading:
- My role in the pitch was: (be very specific about which areas/slides you were responsible for although a group post each member will need to edit and add this.)
-Feedback from Pitch: (bullet points, class and teacher points both strengths and questions/points for consideration)
- Forward Planning: (what do you now need to do to move on to next stage?)
